The youth entrepreneur program aims to inspire students to serve their communities and provides them with greater tools and resources with which to effect change. The high unemployment rate disproportionately affects teens, many of whom face financial challenges while preparing for higher education and one out of ever five young workers can’t find a job. We feel the Youth Entrepreneurs program represents an important investment in the next generation of leaders who will address the issues facing our communities and will create a ripple effect from generation to generation for many years to come.

Our children’s need for alternative learning opportunities and enrichment continues to grow; and, working parents want more access to extended learning opportunities. Therefore, S.A.L.T. strives to provide the best youth development after-school program that can assist in developing skills and confidence in our future leaders of tomorrow.

S.A.L.T. is very much about building relationships among your peers and providing an opportunity to use professional tools to express creative interests. In the S.A.L.T. program, everyone teaches everyone, and everyone learns from everyone. This concept of exploring, experimenting, designing and expressing oneself through technology has a powerful influence on the young minds of today. When kids collaborate with others of diverse ages, cultures, genders, and backgrounds; they gain a new perspective of understanding the world and themselves through entrepreneurship training.
