S.A.L.T. can provide small and medium size organization training at your site. S.A.L.T. understands that technology can be complex and overwhelming for any organization. That is why S.A.L.T. provides ongoing training and support for several industry leading technology products. We put an emphasis on friendly, client oriented training sessions that are affordable and provide great value.

Programs

Entrepreneurship:

The introduction to business creation, ownership and management. Youths will be challenged to create a vision for their business, and then develop a plan and follow through from conception to the finished product or service.

Event Hosting:

Event Hosting is what separates S.A.L.T. from the other youth programs. This is the completion program and most important programs for youths is event hosting. Each program area will feeds into this area of completion, which could launch many ideas for success in other fields of business. I believe doing events can increase the level of thought process and give more interest in the creative energy. Students can shadow the event staff personal for on the job training, which will give the insight on business processes.  After which student will be given an assignment of producing an event of as a group from conception to the conclusion.

 

Mentoring Program:

Mentoring mean “enduring,” it is generally understood as a supportive, guiding relationship designed to promote intentional learning. The objective is to ensure that the student has a meaningful career experience through the development of a one-on-one relationship with someone they can regard as a coach, teacher, or friend. The professional mentor will provide the student with information, knowledge and experience in his/her area of expertise. The mentor can provide this by lending motivational support, encouraging professional behaviour and dress, listening and giving feedback to students, but most importantly, by setting a positive and inspirational example.

 

Leadership and Ethics:

Youth will be taught roles of leadership through research and training in the community as well as in the business world. By utilizing ethics and principals of organization of short and long terms goal setting. Youth will be able to envision, energize and empower themselves and their community.

 

Marketing:

Youth teams will generate ideas in the initial brainstorming stage, then take them through preliminary sketches and storyboards to create a compelling multimedia presentation of their marketing campaign.

 

Accounting:

Youth will be given a budget for their project and must develop a detailed balance sheet and income statement of all expenses.

 

Investing:

Youth will understand the basic market trends, approaches to profitability and loss in investing.
